• Why do I need Protein? 

Our body does not store excess protein. Hence, daily intake is necessary to ensure that our body gets all the protein it needs.

• What is the role of protein?

Protein is one of the basic building blocks of our body. Our muscle, bone, hair, skin, tissues etc. are all made up of proteins. Protein helps us being strong & active. As antibodies, it helps body to defend against infections. It helps make good the loss that occur due to wear & tear in the body. Protein is made up of several building blocks called amino acids. There are 20 amino acids. 11 are called non-essential because our bodies can make them. 9 are called ‘essential’ because our body cannot make them and we must get them from foods that contain these amino acids.

• How much Protein do I need?

As per ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research):

1. Adults need 1gm/kg body weight/day

2. Children need 1.2gm/kg body weight/day

3. Pregnant & Lactating women need 1.75gm/kg body weight/day

• Smiles make things right again and say much more than words can. If you've goofed, said something less than complimentary, feel lost or alone, or feel down, a smile can restore the balance. It lets other people know that you're prepared to be open with them, and that you're willingly agreeing to make amends where needed.

• Smiles create trust and rapport. A smile is a great way of establishing mutual feelings of being on the same level as others, whether that is one-to-one or in front of a group giving a presentation. It says "I'm OK, you're OK, and we're all going to enjoy one another's company."
